- Born in Tokyo, Matsu studied art and design as an undergraduate before becoming a freelance illustrator. He is best known for his weekly web series called Illustration Emergency Room 24 Hours on Nico Nico Live, during which viewers watch him bring a drawing to life then make their own attempts at home.
